1. Calangute Beach: North Goa’s longest beach, Calangute Beach is no less than a real paradise for backpackers from across the globe. Known popularly as “The Queen of Beaches”, this spectacular Goan beach has its name among the world’s top 15 bathing beaches. Calangute Beach owes its popularity to its spectrum of thrilling water activities, shacks, food joints, and pubs.  

2. Basilica of Bom Jesus: 
Known popularly for its awe-inspiring baroque architecture, Basilica of Bom Jesus has remnants of St. Francis Xavier. Constructed back in 1594, the development of this Christian shrine corresponds to the inception of Christianity as a religion in India. 3. Dudhsagar Falls: 
Lying within the premises of Mollem National Park, Dudhsagar Falls cascade right from the lofty hills of the Western Ghats. 4. Fort Aguada: 
Constructed back in the seventeenth century, Fort Aguada is a brilliant example of the mesmerizing Portuguese architecture. On your trip to Goa, there are a certain things that you will surely need. It is always better to be prepared. So here’s everything that you should carry on your trip.

– Sunscreen- A good sunscreen since you will be out in the heat on beaches.
– Sunglasses- to save you from harsh sunrays and to cover-up sleepy and hung-over eyes.
– Essential Footwear- Make sure you take a mix of flip flops, crocs and dancing shoes because you cannot wear the same shoes everywhere in Goa
– Jacket- It is going to be hot in the day but considerably cool at night. So carrying a jacket isn’t a bad idea. You can also use this as a mat or pillow at the beach.
– Fanny Pack- You can carry this bag that sticks to your waist instead of a sling bag or a tote for all your essentials.
– Power Bank- In case you’re unable to charge your phone while travelling, you have a backup
– Water Bottles – so that you don’t get dehydrated
– Moisturiser- Considering Goa’s weather, your skin can become dry very quickly
– First Aid Box- Goa is full of outdoor activities and an emergency may occur at any point. So, it is advisable to carry at least a basic first aid kit with you.

Hiring a two or a four wheeler in Goa is very easy. While roaming around the streets of Goa, you will often come across boards with the name and number of the contact person from whom you can hire a vehicle. The cost for a two wheeler Activa ranges from around INR 250 to 300 per day while a four wheeler is anywhere between INR 1000 to 1500 per day.

This nightclub is a literal circus, complete with a giant clown in the entrance who wants to take pictures with you and a ringmaster in full garb conducting the show. It is one of the most unique clubs in Goa and also one of the most popular amongst all other nightclubs at the place.

5. Cape Town Cafe: 
It is known as the best place to party, and it’s always packed at night. With an amazing dance floor and stage, Cape Town Cafe is one of those nightclubs that will change your life.

6. Hammer’s Nightclub: 
It is a place where you can indulge in your favourite drinks, dance all night long and hang out with your friends and loved ones.
